Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has shared details for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship seasons, including important dates and new promo cards.
Regional Championship Qualifiers
The next round of Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQs) will be either Standard or Limited and run August 15 through November 29.
The participation promo for this season will be a non-foil extended art Sunpearl Kirin, illustrated by kelogsloops.
The Top 8 players in each event will earn a copy of this non-foil extended art Pinnacle Starcage, illustrated by Princess Hidir. The winners of each event will earn an additional, traditional foil copy of this promo.
Fall Regional Championships
The 2026 Fall Regional Championships begin on September 11 and will feed into the first Pro Tour of 2027.
All participants in these events will earn a non-foil textless Kozilek’s Command promo, illustrated by Mike Burns. Top finishers will receive an additional, traditional foil copy of this promo.
The dates for the upcoming United States Regional Championships are:
- September 11–13 in Baltimore, Maryland
- October 9–11 in Los Angeles, California
