Flesh and Blood is taking its popular line of preconstructed Armory Decks and adding a twist this November by introducing a new hero to the game through the supplemental product.

The game developers from Legend Story Studio (LSS) unveiled the new hero on the Flesh and Blood fifth anniversary stream Sunday. Jarl Vetreiđi will be the first hero to come to Classic Constructed through the Armory Deck series, which is now on its fifth iteration. This time the product is called Armory Deck Origins and is a more premium offering that is taking a character from Flesh and Blood lore and bringing him into the fold.
Jarl, like Oldhim, Grandfather of Eternity before him, has essence of Earth and Ice and appears to be a disruptive Guardian. Jarl looks to slow opposing heroes with Frostbite tokens which he deploys to an opponenet’s exposed equipment zone whenever you play an Ice card. Fittingly, many of the cards Jarl wants to use aim to deplete foes of their equipment, allowing him to start freezing them up and making their actions more resource-heavy to use. Take a look at four of the cards included in the deck, three new and a reprint — Mangle from Crucible of War.
Jarl’s specializations, Crumble to Eternity and Unforgetting, Unforgiving, helps weaken equipment and then rewards him for doing so by fetching up copies of Mangle. The deck also introduces a new Channel Mount, this time “Isen” that follows the pattern of previous Channel Mounts from Tales of Aria.
Notably, this Armroy Deck is a premium product, including 23 majestics and a brand-new legendary piece of equipment. The US MSRP is $59.90, up from the previous MSRP of $39.90 for the previous four Armory Decks. Each deck contains a 60-card deck that is ready to play out of the box and includes a hero card, weapon, equipment, and tokens.
Armory Deck Origins: Jarl Vetreiđi releases on November 29 and will be available for purchase at select GEM stores that run Armory Events.
