Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Iyingdi, check out a new take on a classic green spell with a twist coming in Innistrad: Midnight Hunt — Rite of Harmony!
Whenever a creature or enchantment enters the battlefield under your control this turn, draw a card.
Flashback 2GW
Glimpse of Nature has long been a combo enabler and value engine, but what if it had flashback? Rite of Harmony adds white to the mana cost to allow you to draw cards off enchantments as well as creatures, gets to be an instant rather than a sorcery, and has an affordable flashback cost.
Of course, there is a slight downside. The cards have to enter the battlefield to trigger the draws instead of simply being cast like Glimpse of Nature. While Rite of Harmony is clearly powerful, the question will be what deck can utilize this effect and will it make waves in Standard or simply fuel existing combo decks in non-rotating formats?
What do you think of Rite of Harmony? What is the best shell to take advantage of this powerful draw engine?
