WotC Announces Product Shortages For Launch Of Adventures In The Forgotten Realms

Set and Draft booster shortages ahead for D&D crossover set.

Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced that Set and Draft Boosters of Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms will be experiencing product availability shortages at launch.

Availability of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Set and Draft Boosters may be somewhat limited in the United States and Canada at their 7/23 release. This is not a limited release, and players should expect additional boosters in store soon.

As we gear up for the release of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms on July 23, it looks like players in the United States and Canada may have a harder time getting ahold of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Set and Draft Booster products. Thankfully, WotC does not anticipate this shortage will impact Prerelease Packs, and since this isn’t a limited-release set; eventually the supply of Set and Draft Boosters will rise to meet the demand.

We understand that this can be frustrating, and Wizards of the Coast is hard at work to meet the continued demand for Magic as we look ahead to releases in 2021 and beyond.

WotC did not elaborate on the cause of the North American Adventures in the Forgotten Realms shortage.
