Since StarCityGames.com began offering Premium memberships back in January
of 2005(!), the service has enabled us to provide members with exclusive
content from many of Magic: The Gathering’s top players and personalities:

Well add one more to that lengthy list, as today we welcome five-time Grand
Prix champion, two-time Magic the Gathering Player of the Year, and a
member of the Hall of Fame class of 2015, Owen Turtenwald! Welcome aboard,

Today, we’re excited to announce a number of updates to our
StarCityGames.com Premium membership service – including the addition of a
benefit that has consistently been among our most requested!

To start, we have streamlined our StarCityGames.com Premium membership
structure from one that previously consisted of four tiers (weekly,
monthly, bi-annual, and annual) to one that now consists of a single
renewable monthly option that is more in-line with today’s industry
standard. This update will enable us to more easily expand the list of
benefits offered to our StarCityGames.com Premium members, such as the one
we’re about to reveal.

As of today, StarCityGames.com Premium members receive a 5% discount on
most StarCityGames.com website purchases, including Magic: The Gathering
card singles, sealed products and supplies*!

This 5% discount will be automatically applied to all eligible items in a
StarCityGames.com Premium member’s order during the checkout process.

So what do these updates mean for current StarCityGames.com Premium
members?

Due to these updates, please note that no active
StarCityGames.com Premium memberships purchased prior to 11am ET on January
12, 2018, will be automatically renewed, regardless of whether you have
previously selected the option to do so.

If you are currently a StarCityGames.com Premium member, you can choose to
take no action and simply continue enjoying the same benefits you have been
enjoying until your current StarCityGames.com Premium membership comes up
for renewal. At that time, you will have the option to renew your
StarCityGames.com Premium membership under our updated structure.

Alternatively, current StarCityGames.com Premium members can choose to log
into your StarCityGames.com account now and simply select the option to
have us automatically renew your StarCityGames.com Premium membership under
our updated structure when your current membership comes up for renewal. If
you do so, you will continue enjoying the same Premium member benefits you
have been enjoying—and immediately begin receiving the additional benefit
of a 5% discount on most StarCityGames.com website purchases*—as part of
your current StarCityGames.com Premium membership!

And what do these updates mean for those of you who don’t currently have a
StarCityGames.com Premium membership?

Well, they basically mean that there’s never been a better time to change
that, because in addition to expanding the list of StarCityGames.com
Premium membership benefits to now include a 5% discount on most
StarCityGames.com website purchases*, we have also reduced the cost of a
monthly StarCityGames.com Premium membership by 20% – from $9.99/month to
just $7.99/month!
