Znurvel drafted a Sultai deck with plenty of removal and Gyruda, Doom of Depths, but opted to use it in the maindeck as a value creature instead of a companion. Their deck didn’t have a ton of great hits off Gyruda, but the deck was powerful enough to not have to rely on two large creatures from it. The rest of the deck is filled out with various mutate creatures taking advantage of Lore Drakkis to loop removal and Pollywog Symbiote to dig through their deck.

Znurvel faced 1310HaZzZaRd in the finals, who had a great Jeskai deck headline by Narset, of the Ancient Way, Voracious Greatshark, and Rielle, the Everwise. Both players qualified for the Players Tour with Znurvel winning the finals 2-0.
