On yesterday’s Weekly MTG stream, Blake Rasmussen and Steve Sunu were joined by Mark Heggen and Doug Beyer to preview several new cards from the upcoming set, Jumpstart.
Unicorns
The group kicked things off with a look at several new cards, part of the Unicorns pack theme.
Phyrexians
Also previewed was a reprint of a fan-favorite Phyrexian creature, Sheoldred, Whispering One, as well as a stunning, new swamp.
Unfortunately for MTG Arena players, it was determined that Sheoldred is just too inherently powerful to be legal in Historic, and as such, will be added to the list of Jumpstart cards not appearing in MTG Arena.
