Everything You Need To Know For Sunday’s SCG Tour Online Championship Qualifier

Get up to speed on the first Championship Qualifier of Season Two of the SCG Tour Online.

The first Championship Qualifier for Season Two of the SCG Tour Online kicks off Sunday morning. This season has more Championship Qualifiers and more prize money than last season along with the addition of a path to qualify for the Zendikar Rising Championship.

Format

We’re still playing Core Set 2021 Standard so prepare for Growth Spiral, Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath, and Wilderness Reclamation. Temur and Four-Color Reclamation took five of the eight spots in the elimination rounds of the Season One Championship with Yuuki Ichikawa taking it down with his Temur build.

Other decks are putting up a fight against the top dog in the format, but other than Bant Ramp, no deck has taken a title yet on the SCG Tour Online. We might see decks like Mono-Black Aggro, Mardu Winota, Mono-Red Aggro, Azorius Control, or Jund/Rakdos Sacrifice continue try to punish the Reclamation decks, but as we’ve seen over the past couple events, the Reclamation decks have all the sideboard tools to combat even the most hateful archetypes in the format.
