Reddit user OMGoblin shared a post to the EDH Subreddit allegedly showing three of the four generals from Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander preconstructed decks.

Editors note: Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has neither confirmed or denied the contents of this leak and any information should be treated as speculative until officially previewed.

With just under a week to go before previews for the set officially begin, we likely won’t get any acknowledgement of this leak from WotC, however the cards seen above do match with the previewed box art.

Along with the link to the image, OMGoblin also provided text transcripts for each card which you can view below.

Galadriel, Elven-Queen

Legendary Creature – Elf Noble 4/5

Will of the Council – At the beginning of combat on your turn, if another Elf entered the battlefield under your control this turn, starting with you, each player votes for dominion or guidance. If dominion gets more votes, the Ring temps you, then you put a +1/+1 counter on your Ring-bearer. If guidance gets more votes or the vote is tied, draw a card.

Sauron, Lord of the Rings

Legendary Creature – Avatar Horror 9/9

Trample

When you cast this spell, amass Orcs 5, mill five cards, then return a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. Whenever a commander an opponent controls dies, the Ring tempts you.”

Éowyn, Virgin Warrior

Legendary Creature – Human Knight 5/4

First Strike

At the beginning of combat on your turn, if another Human entered the battlefield under your control this turn, create two 2/2 red Human Knight creature tokens with Trample and Haste. Then if you control six or more humans, draw a card.

So what do you think of these leaks? Are they real? Let us know which of the three you’re looking forward to most.

Previews for The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth kick off Tuesday on Weekly MTG.
